Tata Motors is all set to launch its brand new SUV Tata Gravitas coming January 2021. Tata Gravitas, considered as Tata’s most expensive SUV till now, will encompass many features of the Tata Harrier.

It is believed that this car’s more expensive than the top segment of Tata like Tata Harrier. In India, it will be meeting completion from MG Hector Plus and the much awaited, Mahindra’s upcoming SUV New Mahindra XUV500. Let’s take a glance at those special features of Tata Gravitas which are creating excitement among the people.

Seat Options and Design
The brand new Tata Gravitas provides us with 6 or 7 seat options. As it goes for the seater variant, a new 7 seater variant of Tata Harrier will be launched, pretty soon. Apart from this, the SUV will be equipped with 3 rows of seats, providing the option of turning middle Row to third and subsequently, giving the option of folding the third row. Speaking of measurements, Tata Gravitas comes with a height of 80 mm and a length of 63 mm. And just like Harrier, the Gravitas will also be seeing a faux skid plate above the front bumper, a Humanity Line Design and split headlamp.

Engine Capacity
And, coming to the Tata Gravitas’s engine capacity, it’s equipped with a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder diesel engine, which produces 168bhp power and 350Nm torque. Likewise, the Tata Harrier can also be seen fitted with the same engine. Moreover, an automatic option of 6 speed torque converter along with a 6 speed manual is being provided.

Other Special features
As far as the changes are concerned, there are many, mostly in the rear side design of the Tata Gravitas, including a new type of tail lamp setup, tailgate and revised Car Bumpers. Additionally, Black stripe can be found in the middle of its tail lamp cluster. In terms of the interiors, there are quite a few similarities between Tata Gravitas and the Tata Harrier, when it comes to looks. But, the features making the difference is the, Smartphone connectivity, voice recognition, climate control system, cruise control, large touch screen infotainment system, adjustable driver seat, reverse parking sensors and a lot of airbags which are jacked in.
