Yuzvendra Chahal on Tuesday evening announced the news via his social media accounts leading to a wave of congratulatory messages.

Earlier, this year, his engagement with Dhanashree ahead of IPL 2020 had set Twitter on fire with former cricketers like Virender Sehwag pulling his leg. And, it was again Yuzvendra Chahal whose marriage news is trending on social media.

Congratulatory messages are all over the twitter for Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, who tied the knot on Tuesday with choreographer Dhanashree Verma. Meanwhile, Chahal shared the photo from his wedding on Twitter.

Chahal and Dhanashree’s wedding was not unexpected. The choreographer had been spotted in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah during RCB’s matches in IPL 2020.

Chahal, currently not a part of the Indian Test side, had picked up four wickets in the three T20Is played against Australia. The leg-spinner made the headlines after returning as the Player of the Match as a concussion substitute for Ravindra Jadeja.

Although, he managed to scalp just one wicket in the first two ODIs played of the three-match series against Australia.

Chahal finished with 21 wickets at an economy rate of 7.67 in the 15 matches he played for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL),
The 30-year-old have impressive figures to his credit which includes 54 ODIs and 45 T20Is for the Men in Blue, getting a total of 151 wickets across both formats.

Chahal after the conclusion of IPL 2020 travelled to Australia from UAE along with the Indian team to take part in the limited-overs match against the hosts. He was part of the recently concluded ODI and T20I series against the Aussies. Chahal has currently not been included in India’s Test squad for the ongoing Border Gavaskar Trophy between the two teams and therefore, returned home with some of his other teammates.

The Indian spinner will next be seen in action for India when England visits India for a full-fledged tour in February next year. Meanwhile, the Indian cricketers who have been rested and hence, not part of the Test series are currently at their homes, enjoying quality time with their families.
